creating a natural, rosy radiance When applying blush, you want the color to look soft and natural, as if it comes from within. Read below for tips on how to put on make-up. 1. Tap or lightly blow on the applicator brush to remove any excess blush before applying to prevent a harsh and uneven application. 2. Apply your blush on the apple of the cheek and carefully blend towards your natural hairline. 3. If you have two shades, apply the darker one on the apple of the cheek first, then use the lighter shade to highlight. Blend well so there is no visible line between colors. 4. Highlight your temples, forehead and chin.  Tip: To know "where to glow" bend over for 30 seconds, then slowly stand up. Where your cheeks are flushed is where you are meant to blush. Apply your blush there and it will be naturally rosy every time.  Tip: Cheek color should be used to enhance your complexion, not to change your natural skin tone. Use sparingly for daytime, then add more or a deeper shade for a more dramatic nighttime effect. For special occasions, dust a lightly frosted powder over your cheekbones for a subtle but alluring glow.  Tip: Make sure to blend your blush into your foundation well or it will tend to look unnatural and add the appearance of 5 years to your looks.

Hope you are all wrapped up in the warm. Here in London I have heard rumours of terrifyingly low temperatures! I heard from one of our photographers...-15degrees!!! My word.

I figured now would be an excellent opportunity to remind you all to stay hydrated and use your lip balm!

Hi there everyone...

This weekend the studio was super busy and super fun.
I have some brilliant new make-up tips for you today...so here goes!

1. Always wash your brushes with shampoo AND conditioner. It is really is important to keep the clean at all times. Not only this but using conditioner will ensure that the brushes are soft and gentle on even the most sensitive skin.

2. One of our head make-up artists has told me...
...Try applying lip liner AFTER lipstick, it makes for better blending.

Make up tips of the day...

1. Mix your foundation with moisturiser for a lighter finish and extra hydration in the cold winter months.


2. Use foundation under the eyes instead of  your normal concealer.Concealer can remove up to 40% of the water in skin.


3. Apply eye-shadow with a brush instead of using an eyebrow pencil. This will create a much more natural finish.

Make-up tip of the day

For all you ladies out there wearing this seasons bright lip colours...a few tips to help you along!


1. put a little Vaseline on your upper gums to prevent the lips sticking to your teeth, producing unsightly red stains on your pearly whites!


2. Lip-liner, lip-liner, lip-liner! I cannot stress this enough! Not only will this give the illusion of a fuller lip but it will help prevent your lip colour bleeding.


3. Use a straw when having a drink, your lip colour will last considerably longer as you party through the night!
